By popular demand - and as a special Christmas gift to our Members - we invite you to join MMA’s very own Esther Coleman Hawkins for a fast-paced, hands-on 90-minute workshop focused on crafting the perfect logline!

Repeated on three consecutive dates and limited to just 8 participants per session, this workshop will dive into the essentials of writing compelling loglines that capture the essence of YOUR story. You'll explore examples from successful projects, learn about the core components of a great logline, and be introduced to a simple, effective structure to follow.

There will also be time to practice writing your own loglines and share them with the group, offering and receiving constructive feedback in a supportive environment. Whether you're polishing an existing idea or starting from scratch, this workshop will help you sharpen your pitch and leave with the confidence to hook any audience.

This is a Members Only session so you must be a current Member to register for a place. If you’re not yet a Member, please JOIN HERE.

Please only book a place on ONE of the three sessions. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Registrations will be closed once each session is filled - so be quick, so you don’t miss out!!

Esther’s Bio:

I’m a smart, creative and innovative producer with a wealth of worldwide programming experience. From the award-winning Revolution School for ABC1 to the Logie-nominated Last Chance Saloon, my goal is to bring intimate stories to life with insight and humour.

I’m also a long-standing, and enthusiastic, veteran of development. I thrive with the challenge of turning an exciting idea into a successful TV series. Some of my favourite success stories are Luke Warm Sex, Secrets of Our Suburbs and House of Food Obsessives.

Alongside two decades of program making, I love coaching and mentoring people both inside and beyond the media industry.  I’ve helped people kick start their projects and revamp, restart or change careers.  I’m driven by the fact that I love working and I think, given how much of our lives most us spend at work, that we need to do something that meets our needs.
